Is your horse difficult to handle in certain situations or do they have a fear they can't seem to shake?
Do they explode or shut down?
We specialize in re-training behaviours such as, but not limited to, the following. Possibilities can be subject to yard facilities and safety of the work space present.

Spookiness:
Horse spooks easily at various objects, noises, animals, vehicles or people.
Feet Handeling:
Horse is difficult or dangerous when lifting feet or touching legs. Horse loses balance quickly. Difficult for farrier.
Ridden Issues:
Horse naps, rears, bucks, spooks or bolts under saddle. Horse has mounting issues.
Fears & Anxiety:
Horse is generally anxious and copes badly with stimuli, easily worried and overwhelmed. Horse is scared of for example water, traffic, clippers, needles, sprays, rugs, flags, umbrella's, loud noise, certain locations.
Hostile Behaviour:
Horse presents with dominant or aggressive behaviour; kicks, bites, rears or charges at people when approached, treated or handled. Difficult for vet.
Feral, Traumatized or Untouched:

This training is suitable for young/ green horses that struggle with these concepts or are learning them for the first time. Possibilities can be subject to yard facilities and safety of the work space present.
Leading & Boundaries
Horse needs to learn to come off pressure, lead, follow safely, stand still and back up. Behaviours like rearing, bolting, biting, napping/freezing, pushing and pulling will be re-trained where needed. (4 weeks old+)
Feet Handling
Horse needs to learn how to safely have their legs touched, lift their feet, balance and get used to farrier positions and noises. We will address any kicking, biting, balance issues and general discomfort where needed. (4 weeks old+)
Catching, Haltering & Rugging
Horse needs to learn how to be approached, touched, haltered and rugged safely. Avoidance, aggression, spookiness and head shyness will be addressed where needed. (4 weeks old+)
Confidence and Bravery
The horse needs to learn how to focus and cope with stimuli. We will help them build their confidence and be less spooky. By using agility and obstacles to desensitise them to all the scary things, we can set them up for success in the future. (1,5 years+)
First Saddle & Second Try
Horse needs to be prepared for a saddle and girth and needs to learn that it is nothing to be worried about (or to be bucking about)! We often pair this with long reining and desensitisation for optimal results. (2,5 years old+)
Lunging and Long Reining
Horse needs to learn cues to move at different speeds, use their body right and to steer well. This is great to start building muscle and to prepare them for a rider. (2,5 years old+)
First Rider
Horse needs to learn how to relax and cope with the weight, balance and visuals of a rider before getting on. Once on board we will transfer the cues they have learned on the long lines to cues under saddle and give them a good base for any discipline they might get into. First hacks are possible under the right circumstances.
(3,5 years+)
From €65,- per session, contact us for arrangements for foals <1yo.
Travel fees apply (first 25km free, after that €0,35/km)

Tailored Training
Do you have a disability and need to find a way adapt?
Is your horse retired or physically challenged, but still wants to engage in fun activities?
Do you need your horse to learn a specific skill?
We understand that life may throw things at you that you weren't expecting. We offer sessions to make horses more comfortable with their own body and enrich their lives by stimulating them mentally. We also offer specialised horse training for riders and carers with limited abilities.
If your requirements are not listed below, please contact us for more possibilities. Options may be subject to the safety of the available facilities.
Rider or Handler Disabilities
We can teach the horse alternative cues when the physical abilities of the rider or handler are impaired. This could be suitable for people with (partially) missing limbs, muscle weakness, spasms and Tourette's. The severity of human disability but also the suitability of the horse may play a role in how far we can go.
Horse Disability & Enrichment
For horses with a physical disability, injury or retirees, we can offer mental stimulation, confidence boosters and reduced stress by using low impact exercises that involve puzzles, balance and agility.
Let's find out what they CAN do!
Rehabilitation & Fitness
For horses over 2,5 years old who are recovering from an injury and/or need to rebuild their muscle and fitness. We will focus on balance, co-ordination, muscle building and general fitness to get them fit for duty.
Special Skillset
Does your horse need to learn a specific skill or do you need them to be okay with something they usually don't encounter in life? Contact us for the possibilities!
From €65,- per session.
