“Daphne is a real professional in dealing with everything, from horse management to teaching riders and horses at any level. She does this in a very relaxed and cheerful manner, without missing anything of importance. She is always totally present and focused on what there is to do.

Daphne's postive approach to horses, owners, work and life in general is infectious and enabled us, especially my daughter, who had been having a hard time with her 9 year old German warmblood gelding. Daphne showed us how to have fun with him, and together with her professional guidance, this proved to be the key to success!

Daphne always knew at which level to start off with, not going too fast in order not to overstrain horse nor rider, but also always with a challenge and realistic goal. She explains the concept of what she is doing very well and creates understanding for the reactions and psychology of the horse, often of the rider too, observing closely.

Being a teacher with a smile on her face, she never runs out of thrilling ideas to help and support whoever is struggling, be it a horse, rider, or both. She has the most creative way of dealing with problems. Not only is Daphne an excellent teacher, she is very well organised, providing a good structure for everyone with a practical and down to earth guidance. “Daphne is an outstanding trainer. She has trained a variety of horses at our yard. For each horse she was able to adapt her training and tailor it to their individual needs and physical abilities within minutes of meeting them.

She works them in a way that keeps them from being bored, using a vast variety of different exercises. She does right by the horse, treats them fairly and has a sharp eye on how much they can handle before they get overwhelmed.

Whether it's in the arena or out on a field, our horses had a blast! She has improved our horses and we understand their behaviour even better now.
